Vacuum for hard floors

We have just replaced downstairs carpet for laminate floorboards all over.
Loving it but needs regular sweeping with dogs and kids. Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner good for hard floors?

I have a miele Hoover that you drag around. Just a basic model one. Very good for both carpet and hard floors. I also have a dog.

any Miele with the parquet twister attachment

I have no carpets in my house at all, but I have pets which cast loads of hair so I have a Miele Cat & Dog which works really well on hard floors.

I have a dyson that's for carpet and hard floors and I love it but I've never tried the meale one I hear great things about on here. My MIlL has the Henry for both and she adores it but they remind me of my retail work days so I didn't want one
