We are about to get some building work done and I saw this guide about how to get the best out of your builder. Has anyone else got any handy tips about working with builders?

Loads of biscuits and plentiful tea! We also set up a WhatsApp group with the builders so everybody was in the loop on questions and issues. It meant they could message me during the day with pictures of stuff they needed decisions on. I think good communication and being on site as often as possible are the main things though. We avoided expensive mistakes by spotting things before they'd gone too far.
