Fresh grass stain... what do i do?

I have just fallen over and have got a huge grass (and a bit of mud) stain all over the knee of my fav pair of pale pink trousers

the stain is FRESH NOW.... what do i do?

was guessing soaking in biological liquid (Ariel) but do ineed hot or cold... will one of hot / cold 'set' the stain?

well according to 'how to cleananything.com' - Grass stains will usually come out of your clothes if you pre-treat with vinegar before machine washing.
