Just taken out the darks and one of my sons favourite white tops has gone in by mistake, its run, patchy navy marks all on it, is there anything I can do, or else I will be in trouble

You can buy colour run removers which might work - they're a little sachet thing that you put into the washing machine. Wash the stuff again with one of those, then hang it up outside in the sun to dry because the sun can help to whiten things. The last time I used one, it shifted the colour from most of the white clothes so it's definitely worth a shot. You can get them in Superdrug, Tescos - they're pretty widely available.

dont let the clothes get dry...

can you wash them again and see if the due that hasnt 'set in' washes out?

Thanks nannyl i washed it on a high setting and I had one of those super white plus stain removers and it done the job, it looked awful before and now good as new.

Thanks also WWB I will get one of those in next time I go to the supermarket.
