Help! Husband's favourite shirt...

Has just come out of the washing machine covered in little orangey spots of what looks rust!
Does anyone know how I can get rid of these please or is it ruined?

I accidentally turned my white uniform pink. Previous wash had red items in it and must have been some red-stained water left in the bottom of the washer invisibly.

Took s couple of washes, but it came out white eventually so I swear by it. Get the white ones for whites and the pink one for colours

Try lemon juice and salt rubbed into the marks - if it is rust, that should bring it off. If you have no joy with that, get one of the Dr Beckmann stain removers. DP had an unidentified stain down the front of a shirt and I tried several different things, from washing up liquid to scrubbing with mild soap, the last a Dr Beckmann stain remover, and it went completely with a couple of goes.
