New kitchen and need these two appliances. Market just saturated with different ones and prices so hugely different.

Thinking Bosch? Only as I’ve a 15yr old Bosch hob.

Thanks!

Bosch all the way had them in my old house and lasted over 11 years recently moved and have repurchased Bosch dishwasher (sadly the old one was integrated and we had to leave it behind Shock) but it was just like new and had no problems with it at all. Washing machine came with me and is still going strong.

I have a Hoover 16 place setting dishwasher it is massive and really good. I'd definitely recommend it. I think it was £260 from Argos this summer.

No idea what your price point is, but Miele and Gaggenau are worth their weight in gold.

RaindropsAndSparkles · 17/11/2017 22:25

Bosch/Miele. My mother gets 15+ years. I feel lucky for every year over 5. I have a busy family d/w and w/m about 10 washes a week. Mother does 4 in each max and has time to look after them better.

Miele oven? Jut been reading about a self cleaning one. On offer on A0 for £650...

We had a Bosch dishwasher, it lasted 18mths so replaced it with a Miele - far superior. The Bosch waging machine is in its way out after 2 years. It will be replaced with a Miele too. The zanussi tumble dryer we bought 5 years ago for £200 will probably outlive me!

Nanasueathome · 18/11/2017 10:36

Would have to say Miele
Nothing really compares

dowsabel · 18/11/2017 10:36

Washing not waging although it’s waging war on my eardrums right now!

wheresmyphone · 18/11/2017 10:37

Just check carefully with Mielie. My washing machine has a quick cycle but only spins at 1200 do everything comes out dripping!!!! There is a 1600 cycle but I have to do that separately at the end which takes another 20 Mina...ARGH!!!!!

CassandraCross · 18/11/2017 10:42

Bosch dishwasher - 14 years and still going strong here and used at least once a day, every day.

The best washing machine I had was a Hotpoint which lasted 10 years but I struggle to find one that lasts more than 2 or 3 now.

KiaOraAura · 18/11/2017 10:50

We have a Miele dishwasher and its great. Quite old now and sometimes I have to take the front off to unblock the vent, but other than that its given us probably 12 years of trouble-free use.

We have a Bosch washing machine which was a Which Best Buy. They do several ranges and this one is in their higher end range. It is almost completely silent and you can open it part way through to add things. There's a quick wash and you can choose either eco or fast settings. Love it. It's this one.

I left home 30 years ago and have only ever had three washing machines, hotpoint, Bosch and Bosch.

My dishwasher, Bosch is from 2004.

I don’t buy anything swish, mechanical rather than electronic selection. Less to go wrong imo.

AlloAllloAllo · 18/11/2017 13:57

Kia that’s the kinda recommendation I was looking for. Think I will deffo go for that washing machine. Just hope they do an integrated version. Thanks

Have a fairly new Bosch slimline integrated dishwasher (no room for anything else unfortunately) and a fab AEG washing machine which has a short programme (20mins) and variable everything. It's about 10 years old and I'm terrified of it going wrong.
Very happy with both of them.
