We have moved to a rental house with a dirty old tumblr dryer? Please can anyone advise the best way to clean it??

To clean the inside of the drum, wet a towel and tumble it.

But prior to that if it is really bad you could wipe interior with baby wipes

Check it's not a dodgy dryer on a recall list!

You could consider replacing it. You can get a decent dryer for £150, which when compared to the cost of clothes/bedding etc that it may rip or stain (or catch fire) is worth it.

Will see what landlord says
