I have two sick kids at home today, and I was wondering what everyone does to try and keep the bugs at bay? Envy < vom

I wash my hands constantly in hot water + soap. Wash bedding + towels on a hot wash if they’ve been....contaminated 🤢

Biffybiffster · 08/11/2017 11:45

The bedding hasn't been contaminated, but I'm wondering if I should wash it anyway

I would tbh, when it comes to vomiting bugs

Biffybiffster · 08/11/2017 11:47

I think you're right, I'm going to do it now

Hand hygiene -make sure you’re using the correct technique and for long enough

Towels and bedsheets on a hot wash as needed

Toothbrushes scalded in hot water and kept away from uninflected family members brushes (ditto cups/plates, wash hot.)

Wipe down door handles/light switch/door frame if they use that to open/taps/flush on the loo with isopropanol type disinfectant. Also any hard surfaces that are contaminated

Wash door handles, toilet flusher handle, taps, remote controls. Anything the dc are touching.

Wishing them well soon and hope the getms don't follow all around the house

Thanks, I'm going to be on a cleaning mission now. Hope it's not too late Blush
