Which chores did you have to do as a child, and which of those do you hate to this day?

I used to have to hoover the whole house and prep the veg for each meal, and even now I would do anything to avoid peeling potatoes and hoovering.

What childhood chores do you STILL avoid now?

I had to clean the bath - when I was still so little that I couldn't reach from one side to the other, so had to sit in it to clean it.

Dh cleans the bath these days ...

And once I was older (13-ish) I had to do all the washing up (a week's worth) and clean the kitchen from top to bottom every Saturday - which was the only time it was done as my mother was a worse slattern than I am. Strangely enough, the kitchen is the one room in the house that I don't mind cleaning.
