How to clean converse sneakers

I stupidly wore my pink ones to Kew Gardens.
I’ve managed to get most of the mud off the material but it’s not budging from the back of the shoe. Any tips?

I used to stick my mine in the washing machine

I put mine in the washing machine in a wash bag . Take the laces out and put them in the bag too. They come out lovely and revived.

Ha! Years of experience rescuing DD's converse. Mix bicarb with white vinegar into a paste.Scrub all over with the paste and an old toothbrush. Remove laces and soak in bleach. Stick the whole lot in the washing machine on 40 with a biological powder/gel. Job done. Should come up like new.
