Cheaper version of Doodle nest

I Am doing a massive sort out along the lines of Kondo and am struggling about what to do about the kids art work. I liked the idea of Doodle nest where they scan the pictures you want to keep and make a book but it's seriously pricey. As anyone got cheaper ideas/ similar solutions? Thanks

You could get one of those picture frames that rotate the pics from an sd card or a thumb drive, I think? Just save all the pics of their art on there and have a slide gallery.
