Can I ovenpride the metal guards from my hob?

Just about to do my oven and wondered if anyone has "oven prided" the metal grate bits (not sure what they are called) from a gas hob? Also the round disk bits from the actual gas rings? I would put them in the bag with the oven shelves. I don't see why this wouldn't be okay, but I am somewhat sleep deprived so could be missing something...
Trying to get everything sparkly before I start back at work after mat leave.
Any other cleaning tips also very welcome

If the pan rests are shiny black enamel like a roasting tin, then yes. Don't put the aluminium round bits in it.
