Anyone genuinely happy with their carpet washer?

I really want to buy one, esp as am about to start potty training.

I quite fancy the old fashioned orange Vax one as it looks like it does the job but would really value some advice. Need it for upstairs and stair carpet, downstairs rugs and hardfloors.

Only want to spend £100-150. Any advice anyone?

I have a Bissell which cost about £130. Very pleased with it.
