Water Bills - South West Water

How much do you all spend on water? We're on a meter and our quarterly bill just came in at £200, which is pretty much what we've been paying every quarter since we moved in (around 2 years ago). I thought this was normal, but having had a quick look online, it seems like we're paying way more than most people! This is the first time I've lived away from home and dealt with water bills so I have nothing to compare it to.

We're a house of 3 adults without a dishwasher. We do maybe 2 loads of laundry a week. No baths, just showers. No garden so no hosepipe. Does this water bill sound excessive to you? I'm not sure if it's worth calling up SWW and asking them to check for a leak. There are no visible leaks in the house but it seems like a really large bill compared to what I've seen online.

I pay £30 a month with SWW, me and two DDs similar water useage to you.

However, when ex-H lived here, my water bill was £65 a month - it was so high that I was convinced we had a leak, got it all checked etc. Turned out I needed to get rid of the ex. He just seemed to be an adult who used a lot of water???
