HELLO ALL

Been busy this morning but I got my first lie in in months. I even feel like making a list, but I won't. I'm on top of all the usual chores, DS is occupied and I'm just off to make lunch.

DS still in jammies! (Slack mum, call child protection!)

Hope you are all fine and dandy

yaddayah · 10/04/2007 12:59

Hi all

Glad the mouse escaped, our cat is similar, it brings them in alive and then chases them all over the house - usually at 3am

Hrumph just back from the drs's as DS's earache hasn't got any better (now on antib's and being a stroppy 5 year old)House is a tip

Honestly Easter is worse than Christmas.. i've put on half a stone.. i appear to have 2 chocolate eggs attached to my backside

I am off to sort out at least one room

i can't even post a done list .. things are that slack

yaddayah · 10/04/2007 13:00

oooh x post grouchy .. heh heh at two slackers !!

EHM · 10/04/2007 13:46

lol yadd 2 choc eggs attached to bum.Hope ds is better soon
grouchy glad you had a well deserved long sleep.
Hi mhamai

Back from supermarket only had to buy a couple of things until I place my tesco grocery online order.

Right Ellie woke up as we left the house, she fell asleep about 5 mins ago so I am off to grab some lunch & a cuppa.

DimpledThighs · 10/04/2007 15:39

Me today:

  • WM done and hung out
  • DW done
  • Kitchen floor done and wiped!
  • Swish and swipe kitchen done with knobs on
  • Swish and swipe bathroom
  • PAck and post couple of books done
  • General trying to get things back into at least the rooms they belong in done-ish
  • Throw out a bin bag of stuff done
  • Make a bin bag of stuff for the charity shop half-done

oh have done quite well apart from ignoring bathroom.

EHM - I ALWAYS have to go to supermarket the day after a tesco dot com!

Glad the mouse escaped!

shouldbe · 10/04/2007 15:53

dimpled your list is looking good

We are back from our lovely outing miles better than FLYing and I now have 2 lovely cuddly sleepy lo's
Have resorted to putting the telly on for them cos I can't ignore the washing anymore...I think they can have an early supper soon then a nice deep bath and bed. Dh is out till late-ish so I need a peaceful bedtime from them...
Bathroom will be s&s when lo's are in the bath and if I have any energy left I'll mop the floors once they're tucked up.
Hello and a cheery to everyone - I'm not ignoring you all, I'm just terrible at individual replies

BabiesEverywhere · 10/04/2007 16:19

House is fairly tidy and clean.

DH is going to look after DD whilst I go to the cinema (luckily for him she has JUST gone down for a nap and hence likely to sleep until I get back)

So I'm off to see the Blades of Glory comedy

Just got a small amount of ironing which will be done tomorrow

grouchyoscar · 10/04/2007 16:28

Had a scrummy lunch, tidied up and ended up playing out with DS. We planted some sunflower seeds so fingers crossed that they take off.

His tomato seeds have sprouted too.

DH home in an hour, I've had a relatively calm and stress free day Here's to the same for the rest of the holiday.

EHM · 10/04/2007 16:49

Aufish · 10/04/2007 17:51

Hello everybody not alot done today as we have been out for the day. Washing machine still not working so am calling in the professionals. Not as wound up about it today as I've been out and about and allowed myself to stop worrying about housework. Tomorrow is another day and it will be done then. Got to wait in any tomorrow for Virgin Media people so thought get the washing machine guy in at the same time. Looks as if everybody has been busy and done well today. Tomorrow I'm back and will be Flying like mad!

yaddayah · 10/04/2007 18:18

ehm hope Ellie is better soon, advice given on thread is good, fluids are always far more important than food so little tiny sips of water if poss

aufish i'd bet my new Anthea Turner housewifes bible.. (come on Amazon .. post it quickly ) that your WM pump is dodgy (mine cost about £35 to replace but then i add to add the call out charge making it about £100)

babies hope you enjoy the film

Hi to everyone else better get back to the kids they're sqabbling !!

glitterfairy · 10/04/2007 18:47

Helloyadda and aufish well have worked hard and gone for a five mile bike ride with my youngest who is 8 so am really proud of her.

glitterfairy · 10/04/2007 18:47

Sorry it was inspired by dimpled!

yaddayah · 10/04/2007 18:56
