Making the bed nicer

I've bought new flannel brushed cotton bedding for the 1st time ever. In a funny moment i decided to put BOTH thick matress toppers on as well as the mattress protector. I'm in bed heaven at the moment. I've never really put much thought into ways I could make the bed nicer. What do you do to make the bed nicer?

This sounds odd but it’s amazing! I suffer with feeling cold (hypothyroid) so instead of sheets on my bed, I use 2 fleece blankets....it’s fabulous!

What brushed cotton have you got OP?

I bought some from Dunelm a couple of weeks ago - it was lovely and cosy to start with but three washes in and it bobbly and not very comfy.

We’ve invested in a top-notch mattress. We also have goose down pillows and the sheet and covers get ironed whenever they are washed. It’s also all kept very pretty with a throw and cushions and lovely lighting in the bedroom.
