I have my heart set on an Aga and want to buy a refurbished one. I very nearly did last week as there was a TC on Facebook, but when I tried to get someone to install it I spoke to a few Aga engineers who basically burst my bubble!
I've been asking around and a family friend who has had Agas for about 40 years (every different fuel type) has restored my faith. Now I'm really confused as to which one I should get.
I definitely want a 3 oven, but don't know whether I should get gas, electiric TC or DC, or AIMS. We are out of the house most of the day at work, but live in an old cottage so the heat would be welcome in the winter. I have a romantic dream of the dog curling up to it in winter, so I think I want one that is left on all the while, but DH thinks it would be wasteful esp in summer.
Can anyone offer any advice to help me choose? Also, anyone got any experience of 2nd hand? thank you!!
