wouldnt it be easier to just buy a bottle of MrMuscle universal spray? theres one suitable for hard surfaces and windows... will cost you all of 1.79

mum2sam · 06/04/2007 14:04

i have used mr muscle but cant seem to get rid of some of the mildrew in the bathroom and around the windows. On some of these cleaning programmes the home made stuff always seems to work better so thought id give that a try insted. Just cant remeber how to make the solution. Do i have to use white vinegar?

mildew is soooo hard to get rid off - tbh i dont think anything other than heavy-duty mildew remover will shift it. have found the dettox one best.

Anthea says for mildew on windows

a paste made from one part lemon and one part baking powder to remove blk mildew and spots. Spread paste on and leave for 2 hrs, then rinse off. If you add viegar it makes it even stronger

all purpose cleaner

2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tsp laundry borax
2 tea cups of water 3 drops of lavender oil, and 3 drops of tea tree oil
Pour into a spray bottle and away you go
