How do you prepare the humungous amounts of fruit/veg that go into it? Have been chopping by hand, as food processor seems to slice or grate, but not chop. Maybe this is an option? Have been looking for one of those hand held choppy things half-heartedly (mostly in charity shops, as I fear it may not be that great). Any tips please? TIA.

Use a good processor with the normal S blade in it and pulse so as not to over process.

Same as fudge. I'm too lazy to hand peel and chop so it alll goes in the Magimix 😂

Food processor, not good processor!

Ah, never thought of that...duh. Will give that a go. Thanks fudge and tits.

I usually make a lot of spicy apple chutney and chop by hand, but I gave up peeling apples for that or apple crumble etc, ages ago. Nobody notices the difference, let alone cares. I am always chopping fresh veg anyway, so don't find it a problem - plus I have a great little knife.
