Right missis take several deep breaths....step away from the mobile
Do you have the instruction book for the mobile? what type of mobile is it? On 2nd thoughts it will be 440 before we figure it out. If I am about at 440 I'll remind you.

shouldbe · 05/04/2007 15:52

lol EHM I just wanted a mobile that would send and receive calls and texts not all this other fancy stuff! I just can't cope with technology I'm amazed I'm even able to sit here and use the computer!
I've set the kitchen timer to go off in an hour so that'll be about 4.45 so shouldbe OK... Still need to write the letters/cards anyway!

tortoise · 05/04/2007 16:19

Presents wrapped
Cake is cooked and smelling yummy. Once cool i will decorate with chocolate and silver balls, jelly things and sprinkle. Maybe a little egg or two! Then have to find somewhere to hide it until Saturday!

shouldbe · 05/04/2007 16:28

Yay! A friend has just rung and is happy to feed the cat ...she doesn't like the sound of dealing with a litter tray though so the house will be very smelly by the time we get home

EHM · 05/04/2007 16:38

EHM Post Office done thanks for the reminder

tortoise · 05/04/2007 17:03

My cake has a hole in the middle. Its sort of sunk a bit and has a hollow area at the top! I hope when i coat it with choc the middle doesn't fill with it.

Tea is cooking for DD's. I will have salad.

Glad you got PO done shouldbe.

shouldbe · 05/04/2007 17:20

I always think the most important thing about a cake is the taste tort so, as it's a choccy cake, I'm sure it'll be fine
Have been getting on much better since I've been able to relax about the cat Things are coming together pretty well and I'm looking forward to the weekend away, just hope we take this glorious weather to Wales with us

ludaloo · 05/04/2007 17:36

We have been out and about ALL day!!!! Its beautiful here!!! Set to look good for the weekend too!!

We went Trampolining this morning...then had a Happy Meal, then went to a soft play area, then to the beach for a paddle, then to a friends for a chat and the kids painted and played on the see saw!!!! What a cool day if you are a kid!! (soooo lucky! I don't remember being quite so lucky lol!!)

I really fancy chocolate cake now tort !

Well i am taking a risk and dc's have gone to MIL's on strict instructions that if he is ill (he's just been a bit quiet today) she's to phone and we'll come home ,sooo i'm sat here with nothing to do til dh gets home to whisk me off to lurverly resturant .. what should i do .... the ironing pile is sitting looking menancingly at me .. its threatening to fall over

glassslipper · 05/04/2007 17:38

BabiesEverywhere · 05/04/2007 19:38

Good Evening Ladies

Haven't got time to read entire thread but I had to post that today I IRONED

ALL DAY...Started at 9am and I am still going (breaks for meal times)

I have done three and a half baskets of folded clothes and I have one basket left which I am about to start on now.

I hate ironing but I hated this day more...so when I start putting off ironing in the future, I want to be reminded of today....i.e. the day I had to iron practically every clothes item we on and how hellish it was and a suggestion that it be easier just to iron every day for an hour or so.

Lets see if I remember

Managed to make a nice ginger and soy Turkey sausages and mash for tea and it was very nice...mmmm

Hopefully catch up with everyone tomorrow

BabiesEverywhere · 05/04/2007 19:41

He he, just read mission and [smug icon] I don't need to do that one

Aufish · 05/04/2007 20:09

Hi BabiesEverywhere I'm just about to start on my neverending pile of ironing. I really hate it, but it needs to be done. Good thing there is good tv on tonight and a dp who supplies endless cups of coffee. Am shattered as well due to sorting out my bedroom.

tortoise · 05/04/2007 20:11

Well done babies everywhere. I like ironing but don't bother much in the winter. Summer stuff gets done though as its on show more. lol!

BabiesEverywhere · 05/04/2007 21:23

Finished ironing and just had a nice shower and changed into PJ's (my mum bought me 2 pairs when I had to go to hospital recently) enjoying a nice cold cider as a treat

Good Luck with your ironing Aufish tortoise We didn't use to ironing anything except work clothes but whilst I'm at home I want to have everything ironed

EHM · 05/04/2007 21:35

tort I am sure the cake will be yummy, really great idea a nest & Glassslipper great idea too.

Yadda No, I get them done at the gym(not that I use the gym.) Ellie & I go swimming & she goes in the creche if a get a treatment. She couldn't go in to the creche today because she still has scabs from chickenpox. The lovely beautician let her sit in the room with me, which didnt go unnoticed I had words with an old bag. I hope ds stays ok and you have a good evening out.
Luda Sounds like a great day.
