Duvet divas, I need your help!

I've been gifted a single bedding set from H&M and it's lovely - cool cotton, washes well, and most importantly, it has little 'slits' at the top end so you can hold onto the duvet whilst you're putting it in its cover.

Can anyone tell me if their double duvet covers come with that same feature? I have a friend (single) who has mobility issues, particularly with regard to hands/fingers and something like that would be a game-changer.

I've specified H&M as that's where the single set I have came from, and it's not horrendously expensive, AFAIK.

I'd go and look myself but my local H&M only sells clothing. I've looked online but can't find anything obvious.

I have the linen ones and they don't have the slits, not sure about the cotton ones (ds has the Christmas single set so I know what you mean about the slits easing changing) maybe email them if you don't get any answers here?

IKEA used to sell king size duvet covers like this but rather annoyingly they didn't have buttons or poppers along the bottom, so the duvet pops out by itself!

You can unpick the sewing yourself to make little slots.

Ah, if only I could sew. I think contacting customer services may be the way to go, thanks.
I know other companies do make the style I'm after, but they cost SO much more than I can afford.
Perhaps I should buy some giant bulldog clips.

You don't need to be able to sew! Just unpick a length of the seam and put in half a few stitches to stop it coming undone any further. That's not real sewing

The double duvet covers do have the slits at the top.

Last year some time @MarklahMarklah So fairly recently! I didn't have a clue what they were for at first Now I wish all my duvet covers had them!

I had a few Ikea ones (couple of years ago) with the slots.

Never come across slits in a duvet cover, can someone tell me how they work please? i'm thinking i could unpick a seam and make me a slit if it makes changing the cover easier.

H&M replied to say this is a feature of all their duvet covers.
