Food processor - durable bowl

Magimix is highly recommended by many but I am wary of buying because my mother has one - and regularly has to replace cracked plastic bowls. What is your experience? Can anyone recommend a version with a sturdy bowel? - catering ones have metal bowls but are £££.

I'm not an expert but I'm not sure a plastic bowl would be suitable at all. Wouldn't it chip tiny bits of the plastic off that would end up in the food? What about a very heavy ceramic one? I got one from B&M's which has been very hard wearing.

I'm always posting on here about how I hate my Magimix. I really do. And it just cracked recently although for the moment still works as it was an outside piece. TLDR; don't buy a Magimix.
