Hi, I'm looking at buying the above Hoover as I've seen rave reviews on here. Which model is best to get please?

I bought the C3 a couple of weeks ago.
Three bed house, carpet throughout except kitchen and bathroom.
Four cats and two humans with long hair.
It's absolutely brilliant.

whiteroseredrose · 11/09/2017 18:55

Also just bought C3 and it's great. Even DH agrees.

Fantasticmissfoxy · 11/09/2017 18:55

I've got the C3 too - it's brilliant

dudsville · 11/09/2017 18:57

I bought it as an alternative to the dyson. It was returned as it didn't have nearly the same power.

JasmineOill · 11/09/2017 19:03

Can this be used on hard floors?

Sunnystars · 11/09/2017 19:14

Yes it can.

Fantasticmissfoxy · 11/09/2017 21:42

Yes my house is 90% hard floors and it works really well

DramaAlpaca · 11/09/2017 21:44

I've a C3 & it's great. It's only used on hard floors & rugs, I don't have carpets.

slothqueen · 11/09/2017 21:52

Our c3 is brilliant. I'm glad I didn't get a Dyson now. We have a really hairy dog/cat and a toddler.

MonkeyDontTalk · 11/09/2017 21:53

I've had mine at least 6 months, have the C3, no pets but I have long hair Grin

I love it, I am lazy so I use my foot to change the suction. I use both turbo head (carpets) and the hard floor head.

The only thing to be aware of is the cord wind is vicious so you just hold the plug and press the automatic wind button.

I watched a chap review the smaller C1 version (he reviews all different vacuum cleaners) on YouTube and that sold it to me.

NotMeNoNo · 12/09/2017 12:50

I've had a C3 a week. We moved into a house with a deep, dense piled carpet and we have a long haired dog. The previous vacuum (an old Dyson that had done well for over 10 years) just rolled the hair around into clumps. The C3 laughs at those. The turbo head whisks up the hair in seconds.

Having said that we didn't have a motorhead/Animal for our Dyson, I wonder if it's more about the right kind of brush than the brand.

BackieJerkhart · 12/09/2017 12:54

I have the blizzard CX1 power line cat and dog and I love it. Auction that you wouldn't believe!! The only issue I do have is that you don't seem to be able to remove the turbo brush for cleaning so it's a bit fiddly having to keep turning it and snipping with scissors. It would be much easier if you could remove it.

BackieJerkhart · 12/09/2017 12:55

Suction! Not auction.

CruzRamirez · 13/09/2017 20:47

The C2 is £130 at appliances online at the moment, which is less than half price. I bought mine from Argos a couple of weeks ago for the same price but it's now back up to £300. I presume the AO price is a price match, which will change back pretty quickly. I'm pleased with mine so far (just got two very fluffy black kittens).
