and it was completely blocked by colour catcher sheets. :/
I have started using them occassionally but it can't be right that the washing machine eats so many of them?
Showing my ignorance at how washing machines work but... does it mean that potentially I have bits of paper floating about in my machine now?

That's really odd. I've only ever found hair grips or jewellery in ours. I wouldn't have expected there to be a gap big enough for a colour catcher. Have you lost any socks?

Put the colour catcher in one of those bags you get for washing tablets as that shouldn't get through to the filter

I put the catchers in a net bag. like the ones you use for bras.
if I don't they end up by the door and eventually go through the seal.

did you find any cash? I usually end up with a few coins!

Good idea with the net bag! I already have one so even better.
No I never find any money. People seem to be able to empty money from their pockets, just not tissues or other detritus and in the case of small people, pebbles. :/
I do however, always find hair grips and random buttons that don't seem to have actually come of anything!

I wouldn't even know where the filter was! Blush
