Getting blood out of wool suit jacket

So, DS had a nosebleed on his first day at work in his new wool suit and there is now a drip trail down the front. Other than send it to the cleaners, what can I do to remove it? Is vinegar ok or will it make it worse/ stink?

I would soak it in completely cold water. How old is the blood stain? New?

Sponge with cold water and see if it comes off. Do not use hot water as that sets stains. Don't use soap at this stage. If it doesn't come off then go to the dry cleaners.

You can't soak a new wool suit - probably dry clean only and aridk of shrinking it or getting it out of shape.

You can get blood out its saliva, but only saliva of the person whose blood it is, enzymes in the saliva break the blood down. Might be a pain to do if there is a lot of blood but it works, honest.

Blood out with, not its!

I think wool doesn't shrink in cold water.
