How do you keep your clothes fresh?

Just going through my wardrobe and chest of drawers. My clothes smell a bit, even though they were put away clean and were worn perhaps 2 months ago. What products do you use to keep a light natural scent in your wardrobe/drawers? Nothing overpowering or too synthetic, definitely not lavender.

My clothes still smell of laundry stuff after months in a drawer!!

I've put a couple of dryer sheets in my drawers.

I buy them anyway for tumbling towels and sheets. I have tried those washing pearl things which say they'll keep things fresh for aaaaaagggesss but I wasn't a fan.

Thank you both. No judgement here whatsoever but I personally don't use conditioner or dryer sheets because they're meant to be bad for the environment and my DS has terrible eczema which reacts to the chemicals. Maybe that's why my clothes don't smell fresh...Sad

I don't use conditioner or dryer sheets either but I don't have this problem. Just wash, dry, iron and put away. Some stuff at the bottom has been there for months and doesn't smell.
