Egyptian cotton bedding

Recently treated myself to some nice Egyptian cotton bedding from John Lewis.

It's lovely, but it creases so badly after a wash!!! Even thouroghly ironing doesn't shift the creases.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a particular way of laundering it?or I should this just how it is? Help!! Feel like cog back to my cheap sheets, they come out of the wash looking lovely.

I've bought egyptian cotton for years from JL, and it is only the bits I have bought in the last year or so that have creased like this. I saw lots of complaints about it on the reviews online, so think the problem is in their supply, not the fact that they are egyptian cotton iyswim.

If someone does have a brilliant solution, I'd love to know!

Thanks. Glad it's not just me and my rubbish housekeeping skills Grin

I'm so disappointed, they were pretty expensive, and I've wanted nice sheets for ages.

Can anyone recommend where to get lovely bedding that won't look so awful after one wash. NOt bothered about design as I prefer plain white.
