I just put it all in together. Unless it's really deep colours. Never had a problem.

I only put white things in a white wash. Anything else in there means white dont stay bright white, they end up going grey. For the colours you mention I would put them with lights such as grey, pale pastles etc.

White and light colours eg white and light blue goes in the white wash

White and dark stuff eg white and navy goes in the dark/mixed colours wash

Colours are to be washed with bio Persil and whites with Daz

Just whites in my white wash here

I separate the rest into darks, and light colours. Then towels and bedding separately

I just put whites in my white wash, but I have seen professional cleaners on here saying that any clothes with white in should be colour fast and should be washed in the white wash.

I use colour catchers in every wash (I have a little zip up laundry net I keep one in the machine all the time and change when it's gone black). I can't be bothered to separate whites and we don't wear enough whites to justify separate white washes. I buy colour catchers in bulk on ebay. You can also get free samples by post (there's one called Dr Beckmann that works too but avoid cheap copies as they don't work).

(I change the colour catcher when it's gone black, not the laundry net)

Anything that's white with any other colour can go in the whites wash. The other colour has to be colourfast or it would transfer to the white on the same item, if that makes sense.

Whites.Lights. Brights. Darks.

Just shove them all in together. When he is here and you going through 8 outfits a day this is what you will do any way.
