Anyone know of a good unscented laundry detergent?

I don't like wearing clothes smelling of any kind of laundry detergent as it gives me a headache. Can anyone recommend a laundry liquid that doesn't leave clothes smelling at all? I do prefer biological but may have to change to non bio if I can't find anything unscented.

I used to use Ariel acti-lift but they changed the formula and packaging and it started leaving fragrance on the clothes regardless of whether they'd been tumbled or hung to dry. So I changed to ecover bio laundry liquid which just had a trace of limonene which I could deal with and this was fine. Unfortunately they just changed the packaging and formula of this product as well and now it smells of jasmine and honeysuckle and it's made my kitchen stink of it. Why do they think I want my clothes smelling of random crap like this? I want them just to be clothes and I'd just like to smell like a person, not a perfume factory!

Any help appreciated!

My son has a problem and uses to laundry balls. Thats interesting "smell like a person", I love my scented stuff, his stuff is dry crispy and smells of nothing, I dont know how effective it would be using these balls on stains, there is just him.

I've been using Asda non-bio for a while as it seems the least smelly of the non-bio's.

I cant wander down the detergent aisle in Sainsburys without being overwhelmed with the smell

M&S own brand has no scent, at least I can't smell anything. I bought Fairy recently as we had run out and the DC were complaining about the smell which was incredibly strong compared to what we were used to.

HRTFT I used to switch liquids all the time, because I hate 'fragrance'. For the last year or so I've been using Tesco own bio liquid detergent, and find it's fine. I don't use a lot of the liquid per wash. Also... it's so cheap! Less than a quid.

I use surcare fabric softener. I find it does have a bit of scent while in the bottle, but none after the wash is done. It's not silly money either. Hope that works for you!

Did you successfully find anything. I just came across this post as I was researching the same thing. Apparently you can purchase various enzymes from certain laboratories and then add them to your preferred product. I don't really want to have to go about it this way and like you am searching for an unfragranced biological product. I gather there are also such things as enzyme pre-soaks so maybe this is the way forward as you then wash them as normal afterwards so probably then washes out most of any fragrance... ?

The basic Aldi one smells of nothing.

I second the extra rinse cycle at the end (I have occasional topical eczema so always do this)
