Limescale control- help needed!!

Having just spent a good deal of time scraping and chipping limescale off the the bottom of all the toilet bowls (yuk), I was thinking that there MUST be something I can use regularly as a preventative measure?

Is a there a product out there good at dealing with the sort of build up that happens below the water line?

Sorry, I know it's a very borong question, but I'd rather not have to do this again TIA

I believe that CILIT BANG LIME AND GRIME is ok for limescale.

(sorry, can't say CILIT BANG without shouting)

there's a loo cleaner called 100% limescale or something, maybe harpic, but you need to use it daily which I can't seem to do.

I have a scalewatcher installed. It does cost between £150- £350 to install depending on the size of your house but I think it's really good. It gets rid of built up limescale in your pipes/appliances and prevents further build up. You don't need as much soap/shampoo/detergent etc etc either

My skin is much better too

cheap coca cola...

Harpic 100% limescale does work but I am a great user of white vinegar or lemon juice. The acid breaks the limescale down and doesnt break the bank in the process.

harpic 100% limescale once a week works, but if its got in a bad state bail out the water and use cilit bang cant believe im posting on a limescale thread!

Thanks with the cola and vinegar do you just poor it neat into the loo and leave for a while? How often do you do this? Sorry for the tedious questions
