Hi,

Looking for a new hoover as I hate our current one (Henry). I've been looking at the Shark HV320UKT Light Handstick True Pet Vacuum Cleaner but unsure if this suits our needs.

Any recommendations?

I've just ordered a Miele C2 cat and dog from Argos, £129.99.
Lots of good reviews and mentioned a lot on here. It's a lot of money for me to spend so hoping it lives up to expectations. I am fed up with my old cylinder Dyson churning out dust and smelling even after cleaning and replacing the filter!

Coming on to say Miele.
I got a series 2 for £99.

Miele.

Following as I want to replace my ancient Henry (no attachments, bags are a pain) for similar price.

Any other Miele supporters? Heard very good things... Vax pet isn't the best at picking bits up (including pet hair, ironically!) so on the lookout.

Just bought the miele in Argos. Done the whole house. Apart from confusion about whether to use the turbo brush, and finding the standard brush hard to push on carpet (need to get used to all the settings) I am very impressed with the power, size, attachments and long pole bit (I am tall). I used the little upholstery tool on the stairs as it was easier than doing the narrow stairs with the whole pole and stuff, worked well.

Turn the volume down if it's hard to push Grin

On the floor head there is a brush up/down switch. Brush off will help too.
And the airator switch slide thing on the pole.

Happy vaccing Halo

I have a Shark (though not that model) and it's fantastic.

It replaced a Dyson and I think it's much much better.
