Shower drain blocked-possibly with glass

Sorry but it's a boring one, can anyone help?

While (ironically) unblocking the shower drain, I managed to lift the glass shower door off its runner with my shoulder. The door fell into the shower and completely shattered.

Dh replaced the door during the week but the drain seems to be blocked and the shower is unusable. I can't see anything in the drain (few inches deep), but I can't work out where the water should then drain to, to find the blockage.

Even if I do find it, how do I clear it??

I'd use a drain unblocker liquid first - see if that disolves the blockage and takes any small shardes of glass with it. Then if that doesn't do it use an extendable drain rod to see if you can get to it, otherwise I think you might have to call in professionals.

If you have a heavy duty wet-and-dry hoover, try that.
