Bathroom Cleaning Cloths

If I soak the cloths I use to clean the bathroom (including loo) in hot water and disinfectant (Zoflora) first can I then bung them in the wash with other things such as tea towels or is that gross and potentially hazardous? Washing them on their own seems so wasteful but I don't want to make the whole household ill. Thanks!

I just wash them along with towels/bath mats etc. I also add a scoop of napisan to the wash. Always done it, nobody has ever been ill.

I use them with cleaning spray and rinse them afterwards, and put them in the next load of the right colour. Illness is very infrequent here.

I keep tea towels, washing up and cleaning cloths in a separate small basket and was them together once a week on a 60 degree wash with a bit of Dettol in with the detergent.

I save up all our cleaning cloths and dusters, then wash them all on a hot wash with a pre-rinse together

I wash bathroom cleaning cloths with just kitchen cleaning cloths and tea towels on a 95degree wash.

Cloths that have cleaned the toilet, will usually go in the bin (sometimes I will let it dry out and use it to clean the toilet again of course with no wash (use bleach to clean the loo anyway, so would kill anything lurking on the cloth).

If I have used it down the toilet bowl, it definitely will go in the bin. But most of the time, I am using the cloth for the cistern, seat and outer bowl.

I use microfibre cloths for cleaning the bath, shower cubicle, sinks etc. - using Astonish spray bathroom and shower cleaning sprays - and they then go into the normal towel wash after each use.

I only clean toilets with disposable toilet wipes which go straight into the bin after use.

If you've soaked them in hot water and disinfectant you've washed them already!
