Online family organiser/ diary app recommendations

I am looking for recommendations for a family organiser/ diary app (which can be used on 1. phone and 2. ipad and/or computer). I think my meticulously organised but technologically limited paper diary has just about had its day. I want an app where family members even friends can see some (maybe not all) of your calendar and can be used for shopping lists, repeat appointments, alarms etc. A colleague suggested Cozi.

Does anyone have a favourite for this - it is rather like looking at trip advisor - I just think I have found a good one and then I find 5 reviews that say the app is a total waste of time and am back to square 1. In terms of a must have I really want different family member events/appointments to appear in different colour fonts so I know where to collect the right child from and ideally somewhere to put long term reminders in. Anyone have an app like this anything they cannot be without? Thanks.

We use Google calendar and keep. You'd need to check your colour coding would work though as we don't go to that level. I write in the appointment "sam to do sportsday"

I recommend Cozi too.

Cozi here as well. Each individual gets a different colour "dot". I have the PILs in there, I have one for handymen/builders etc when they come to the house, even one for the cat

Google calendar! We now know where everyone is or needs to be.

Google calendar all the way.

Remember the Milk for to do list.

We use Google Calendar too and have different calendars for different things so they can be shared appropriately.

So our separate calendars are colour coded: I have purple, DH is green, general family activities are red, birthdays/ anniversaries are orange and to note are pink (things we need to know, but don't necessarily need to action like my aged parents away on holiday etc).

What we want next is for the contacts to be able to be shared too so that I don't have to keep sending DH useful details!

I'd start with Google Calendar and Keep because it's free. Worst case scenario you'll learn more about what your requirements are, and that'll help you shortlist paid apps.

For a to do list, my favourite is Wunderlist, although Google Calendar has a built in reminder/task function.

Cozi is brilliant
