Blocked loo

Ahhh! What can I unblock our loo with? I need a chemical solution. I've had an aerosol air blaster thing before, but can't use it to unblock all this poo. Let's just say, it had unpleasant consequences last time! Any suggestions? Please!

A (very), large dollop of washing up liquid and boiling water from the kettle - repeat around twice and all should be good! Smile

I'd be vary about using acid, especially if it reacts with whatever you've already poured down there. Boiling water is also a bad idea because you might crack the porcelain.

Wire coat hanger will work but it's a disgusting job. Get your husband to do it - it's his crap.

If you only have non-bio detergent in, stain remover like vanish does the job. You just need enzymes that (ahem) eat biological matter.

Bloody hell, it's a miracle!!!! It's worked!!!! I'm buying this stuff in bulk. Or divorcing DH.

No, this isn't a weird drawn-out advertisement.

Right, now to disinfect the whole room, floor to ceiling. That turd has been festering for a few days. Will Zoflora do?

Excellent news.

Here's a tip on how to prevent or at least reduce the frequency of blockages in the first place. Don't buy luxury toilet paper. Found that no matter what I said DS kept on using loads at once and kept blocking the loo!

So now I only buy the cheap value saver stuff. Does the job and a lot less toilet blockages for me to have to sort out.
