John Lewis sofas

Any thoughts on JL sofas? We are in desperate need of a new one. If anyone has tried their wipe clean fabrics I'd love to hear about them_are they very slippery?

I don't know about the wipe clean ones but I would never buy another sofa from John Lewis.

I ordered one, it took way past the quoted delivery time, the edges of the fabric started to fray, and the legs bent.

It was expensive.

In fact I would never buy anything substantial from John Lewis again, their service is appalling.

No don't do it. I ordered my John Lewis leather sofa 2 years ago and after a year the cushions are all flat it's terrible quality and it was expensive. Never again

I got one and it's been great. Surprised on the service comments above as I've only had good experiences.

Oh dear. I really don't know what to do now. I thought JL would be good quality I'll go and sit on every sofa at JL & M&s tomorrow. My back's been killing me since we got home from holiday and I'm pretty certain that the sofa is to blame so I want to sort out a new one ASAP.
