DCs Bedroom

I am in desperate need of help in sorting out my DDs bedroom!

They both share a reasonable size room which has 2 single beds, small bookcase between the beds, 2 ikea trofast pull out drawers at the bottom of their beds and a built in wardrobe however there is little floor space left just inbetween the beds and we store books & toys under their beds.

I keep trying to reduce their clothes as they have too much and now DD2 is starting school and inbetween sizes meaning the wardrobe is full of uniform , gym kits, kits for sports clubs & rainbows , dress up clothes, party dresses, winter jackets etc.

I was thinking cabin beds with storage underneath might be better however we cannot afford them at the moment.

Can anyone suggest or share a good way of organising everything?
I am starting to follow the kondo threads but am not quite there yet .
On top of the drawers drives me mad as it looks really messy with bits and bobs like watches clock library books little pics sent home from school and i cannot work out a better way to organise this all .

Unfortunately there is no scope to move rooms or move house to get an extra bedroom for a few years.

Bunk beds leaving more floor space? There always seem to be cheap bunk beds for sale on Facebook.

Oh and get some vacum pack bags for winter clothes during the summer time and vicevera. The sealed bags can go in the attic or airing cupboard. It saved me lots of space.

Thanks Wings

Bunkbeds wouldn't work as my two fight over everything and when we have stayed in hotels its a never ending battle for who gets the top !

Vacum pack packs for their winter stuff is helpful as in summer its shorts and extra swim stuff so would save some space ( not that weve had much of a summer so far ) .
