BBQ cleaner

Am looking for tips on cleaning stainless steel gas BBQ , have tried BBQ cleaner from Homebase but still quite dirty especially parts under grills around gas burners ,

HG is a good one.
Or a soda crystal spray but it does leave a white residue so you need to spend a whole on it.

I use bicarb (I think) in warm water then scrunch up some tin foil, dip in the water and use that to clean. not sure about doing that with stainless steel though, would scratch it maybe? I use it on the rack things (what are they called?), around the burners, the drip tray etc
