What do you do with old cards?

I have loads that I've kept for sentimental reasons - no idea whether I should keep them or be brutal and chuck them MK style. Do you keep yours?

I keep the sentimental ones in a box. The semi sentimental ones I turn into book marks, gift tags and post cards for 'special' people - in a kind of passing on the sentiment way!

Depends on how often you look at the sentimental ones. How often do you get them out for a walk down memory lane? Presumably some more often than others?

Calliwalli · 06/08/2017 16:50

Bin em, but then i am not sentimental at all.

lizzieoak · 06/08/2017 16:55

If they're pretty I keep them forever. If they're ugly then sentiment be damned, I bin them. As William Morris said "have nothing in your house which you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful". Or words to that effect.

Unless you know a nursery school teacher in which case perhaps they'd want them for crafting.

Apart from my Mother's day cards from DS, which I keep in a memory box, all others are recycled.

I'm going to combine the advice and be brutal about all non-essential cards and I'll keep the leftovers in a memory box Smile
