Elbow Grease

I'm probably the last person to hear about this stuff, but good god it's amazing!

I mop my floors everyday with flash but today I squirted this all over it first and then mopped with warm water. The water was black at the end of it!

I know this sounds like I work for then but I really don't.

Anyone know any other uses? I've joined a Facebook group (along with the Zoflora ones I'm in. Jesus getting old) but am keen to clean everything

Glad someone is as excited about it as I am. Grin In heavily pregnant and deep in the throes of nesting but I actually wake up thinking about Elbow Grease and Cif Cream Cleaner. If I wasn't pregnant I'd be worried!

Just degreased my cooker hood.

It was minging Blush

Place marking

I'll post a photo tomorrow of the water after cleaning the kitchen floor. It's disgusting, and I mop it every single day!

I'm too embarrassed to post a photo of the water. It looks like a Latte Confused

What, where can i buy this?!

MeanAger · 04/08/2017 21:53

This stuff is brilliant. Have real trouble finding it round my way though.

MabelWotsits · 04/08/2017 23:59

From poundstretcher and Tesco

Some of the people on the elbow grease fanclub FB page have got it at B&M and Poundland too apparently.

The before and after pictures are Shock

Not good on wood though as it strips the varnish off after a while.

Just done my grotty Double glazing.

Looks like new. DH is speechless Grin

I got some today. I'm going to tackle my horrible kitchen vinyl with its dirt hoarding texture. Hmm

PearlyPinkNails · 05/08/2017 16:08

Take photos of your floor before and after, I can't be the only slattern on here

MeanAger · 05/08/2017 16:13

Grin okay will do!

MeanAger · 05/08/2017 16:24

I did half a tile as a test. Not sure if it is clear in the photo but I'm impressed! I have scrubbed this floor with bleach before and it is so hard to get the ingrained stuff out. This stuff was on for 5 minutes and it's gone!

It's fab isn't it? Grin

I'm doing my oven door tomorrow. I'm honestly turning into my mother.

I wonder if it's safe to use in a leather sofa. Mine is dark brown (hides the dirt really well) but honking dirty.

KittyVonCatsington · 05/08/2017 17:21

Definitely don't use it on wood-will strip it and will take some dye out of rugs/carpets which is the colour most people are seeing in their mop buckets.

However, it is a great degreaser on ovens, upvc windows, tiles and laminate Grin

PearlyPinkNails · 05/08/2017 20:38

I think when used on wood the jars of gunky water are most probably coloured with varnish.

Is this a real thing, or is it like being sent to the shop for a left handed screwdriver?

MeanAger · 06/08/2017 14:56

Grin it's a real product! Bright yellow liquid like sugar soap.

PearlyPinkNails · 06/08/2017 15:42

It's real. I thought it was like sending someone to the shop for 'a long weight' Grin

I'm going to order some on Amazon as my floors are absolutely minging. Thanks op.

MeanAger · 06/08/2017 15:57

Amazon seems quite expensive for it. It's usually £1 in shops.

justdontevenfuckingstart · 06/08/2017 18:10

Yes Mean I got 8 for £12 but I hate shopping so it's worth it for me. If it works of course! If I think it's rubbish I will post it to posters here.
