How to find a good housekeeper in N1 (London)

I'm really struggling to find a good housekeeper for our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom flat in N1 - so I thought I'd turn to mumsnet to see if anyone has some suggestions!
For the past few years we have been using Housekeep - and for most of that time had the most wonderful housekeeper. Unfortunately, she has left as she is about to start a family, and the replacement housekeepers we've had since have been terrible (leaving dirty glasses on bedsides, not emptying dishwasher, putting fitted sheets on the wrong way around so they don't fit and leave the mattress exposed (?!), not cleaning toilets, using my cleaning products even though I pay for them to supply their own, putting expensive sharp knives in dishwasher or point side down in stone jar (despite notes asking them not too)...) they all sound like small things but it's happening every week and is making it more hassle than it's worth - plus we are paying for someone to clean properly and they are just not doing the job! Housekeep's customer service seems to have got much worse as they have grown as a company.
Ideally I'd like to find an independent cleaner (as I'd rather pay the cleaner the full amount than have an agency take a cut - I feel this may be why quality is so low at Housekeep!) but I have no idea how to go about it.. any ideas?
I'm after someone for about three to four hours a week who is trustworthy and has insurance. I just need them to do general housekeeping (vacuum, mop, dust, clean bathrooms, change bedsheets (1 bed), put any dirty glasses in the dishwasher, empty the clean dishwasher, empty bins, and do the very occasional bit of folding laundry). I'm hoping to pay £10-12 / hour
I've tried asking around but none of my friends have cleaners they would recommend.. thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Any tips? Would love to sort something out by next week and I'm still struggling!
Thanks :)

Any advice on this? I've just had to cancel our account with Housekeep - the last two jobs were terrible and they have cancelled today's clean at 5pm and tried to reschedule for tomorrow... we have people coming over for dinner this evening and house is a mess Angry
Would love to find someone but have no idea how to go about it! I tried care.com but it kept prompting me to sign up for a paid account and didn't seem that reliable..
