Anyone have any recommendations for an outdoor heavy duty retractable washing line. Needs to be 15m at least.

Rock n roll Friday.....😂

Do you mean a long straight one or something like this Brabantia wall mounted one? I have one of those, it holds loads and folds back into a very compact space on the wall when not in use.

I'm thinking one that is wall mounted and the washing line stretches out so it can be retracted when the DC are out playing.

We used to have a 50ft retractable line. It was annoying. We don't have it any more.

It's easier to have a rotary that you remove, or a Brabantia that folds in and out.

I have both. And a fixed 50ft line. Very mucky children!

I've just bought a double line own-brand retractable line from John Lewis.
Cost £15. Am going to try it tomorrow (one in previous house lasted 15 years - left it for the new owners).

i have one from vileda. £10 seems good so far and frees up the garden for the kids! x

I've looked at both the j Lewis and vileda ones - I just expected them to be more expensive as need it to last as will get lots of use as have 3 boys!

I had a double one made by Minky. Cost around £12 from TKMaxx though it was a while ago. We fixed the line ends to different points on fence posts.

I have the Minky double as well. From Amazon. I think it's great.

Brilliant - thanks for all of your replies.
