I work at Yorkshire Children's Centre and we run a Safety in the Home scheme in the Doncaster area. We provide free safety equipment to families with only two criteria - that you have a first child under 2 and that you be in receipt of benefits. We can fill in a form with you over the telephone at 01484 415465 or you can request one by e-mailing us at [email protected], fill it in and send it or scan it back to us.
We provide free safety gates, fireguards, bath mats, corner cushions, cupboard locks, cord winders (blind cords) and window restrictors. We also work in conjunction with Doncaster fire service and can make a referral for a fire safety check alongside the referral for equipment.
