Am considering one of these, do I need talking down?! looblade.com

I don't use bleach. I have a loo brush. The loo brush gets soaked in dissolved denture cleaning tablets between cleans, it works wonders.
Frankly I'd rather have a toilet brush in my house than a bottle of bleach. A plastic brush is far less hazardous that chloirine gas

I have a toilet brush. It's only used to clean a clean toilet (iykwim).

Any skidmarks can be easily removed by pouring hot water from the toilet tap down the bowl. Do other people not do that?

Tika77 · 01/08/2017 22:41

My loo brush sits in disinfectant all the time and I chuck them out when they get mucky.

acornsandnuts · 01/08/2017 22:48

I have a silicone loo brush which I find less yukky than the bristle ones.

With what? Do you keep a hot water penis beaker on hand in the bathroom just in case?Grin

Or do you quarantine the toilet till you can get back from the kitchen/garage/shed with a suitable container?

ShotsFired · 01/08/2017 23:29

@NoDecorum I don't have a loo brush. Sorry, I think they're disgusting. Just the thought of the shitty pool of rancid water they end up sitting in, in their holders... ugh.

But nobody's asking you to brush your teeth in it! Surely it just sits there quietly down the side of the loo?

NoDecorum · 02/08/2017 00:00

Yeah. Festering. Grin

SaltLiquorice · 02/08/2017 10:22

I do the same as bakedbean. I use the mug I keep in the bathroom cabinet for slushing down any marks in pan. Hot water does the trick. I also have a toilet brush.

Hate the thought of those disposable ones. More unnecessary landfill.
