Pre Holiday clean

It's that time of year, about to go on holiday for 2 weeks and determined to leave the house nice for my return.

What are your jobs that make returning from holiday that bit better.

Obviously I already do the standard empty fridge and bins etc, and have even managed this last few times to schedule a supermarket delivery.

Think I remember someone once saying they wash their Dyson filter, that person is my hero.

Am empty laundry bin is great to get home to!

And I don't tell my cleaner we've gone away so the house gets a good tidy up as we are leaving so it's ready to be cleaned.

Pull out sofas and wipe skirtings.
Baby wipe around light fittings and door handles. Scrub oven. Have some milk / bread in the freezer to defrost if you come in late that night. zoflora carpets/ rugs

I wash cushion covers and door mats too so they get a spring clean. Wipe windows.

Then take the week to recover !!!
