Bought a mexican pine table last year which was bacically untreated .
I decided to put a layer of bri wax on with some wire wool to protect it from spills ect.
Its stopped drinks from soaking into the wood but it looks awful.When the sun is shing on it it just looks sort of covered in mucky hand prints and not at all even .
I have tried polishing in more wax but it still looks as bad.Sort of as if you get some polish and spray in onto a window and then dont polish it off proporly iyswim .
Any ideas how i can get a nice surface back ?
