Dry cleaning suits before storing

Do I really need to do this? DS has just left school and has 3 suits which he wore in the sixth form - all of which are dry clean only. I'm not sure if they'll ever be worn again. He's hoping to go to university so in 3 years time, even if he gets a job where he might wear a suit, styles may have changed and he may have changed shape. He also has his dinner suit - worn for his prom only.

I want to pack them all away, with his shirts rather than having them gathering dust in his wardrobe. But do I really need to get them dry cleaned first? Four suits will be expensive - and it would seem more sensible to just get them cleaned should he ever want to wear them. Any thoughts? Can I just pack them away without cleaning first?

Get them cleaned - does anywhere near you do a multi clean offer? Might work out cheaper.
