You know those childrens bags and lunch bags, they are made out of a sort of squashy plastic material, a bit like the stuff on high chairs?
How do you get them from looking discoloured? could I put them in the washing machine?

i put mine in the dishwaher

I have scrubbed mine with a scouring pad - didn't put in dishwasher as wasn't sure there weren't any leaks where water would get moldy if wasn't 100% dry

Not got a dishwasher, did they dry out ok?

yes, but we might not be talking about the same ones here - mine are the rectangular ones with zips round the lid

You could try Bicarbonate of Soda and a toothbrush it's good for stains and smells

dingolimpet · 23/03/2007 13:00

Yes those ones. My Ds has a new doctor who one, which has a sort of mesh flap inside thats been chocolate moos-ified. It looks revolting.

My 2 have those lunch bags too ~ I spray them with anti bacterial spray each night and then they go in washing machine on Fridays. Still going strong so far.
