How did you start yours and what did you use? I started one last year but it never really took off.

Ideas?

I haven't done one but thought the other day of doing it. I don't know where I'd keep it though. I don't want more clutter!

I do the Flylady thing but have drawn the line at a control journal. I have enough to do without writing heaps of lists and carrying it around in a book. I do however have a standard list of housework jobs which i keep on my desktop and look at in between MNing

I love my control journal, I designed it in the evenings over the last two months when I was too ill to DO much cleaning.

I use paper in plastic A4 covers and a dry marker. I like ticking off tasks completed and it gives me a focus when I think I have done nothing I can look and see what I have already done and what is needed to be done.

I also have a cheap whiteboard in the kitchen for one-off tasks.

I know it is sad but I love lists, so this is a big attraction of the FLY lady system for me

I should add I have all my pages on an excel spreadsheet and one of my weekly tasks is too review, edit and reprint any bits of my control journal as needed.
