Rolloneaster- I don't know. Haven't felt right since trapped wind on Wednesday night. Started a thread and many said it could be gall stones so am getting checked out by Dr on Monday.

Been up since 7

Done list
Up
DS up
Downstairs with crockery etc
Empty DW and put away
S&S Hob
S&S worktops
Prep breakfast
Take washing out and peg out
Keep eye on DS while we wait for bin lorry to come
Make butties for lunch
Make breakfast
Serve breakfat
Pack bags for the day
Go to children centre opening
Come home
Sort washing out
Tidy front room

Had a real rough day. DS had full scale meltdown tantrum about helium ballons at the opening of the children's centre, in front of my mates and people who I respect professionally. I spent nigh on 3 hours pursuing him from room to room, then having thanked those people for their help in keeping an eye on him, I have a meltdown myself.

Feeling ashamed by DS's behaviour and ashamed at losing my slender grip on reality.

Ah Well, it's been a long week...Sh*t, I left his bag at school

Hi

Well I have had a very satisfying day....in that I got lots done...

Went to town,
Put petrol in car
Went to bank
Ran an errand for dh
Bought some plants for the fish tank
DS and DD's duvet covers arrived
SIL Is a bit lost but have redirected her
Spoke to my dad...my friend and my brother

p.s chacha I had chicken pox on my 21st birthday! I was away for the weekend too and couldn't go out to the restaurant DH had booked!! Grim isn't it

ok so I have been directed to this thread. think it is a bit 'professional' for me tho... I am more of a hit and miss houseworking kind of gal... altho I have acheived quite a lot today, despite getting stuck on mn this morning. Still got to make up the beds with linen tho... grrrrrr I HATE that job..

Hello all. I did nearly all my routines yesterday - much better than the days before - but still not quite all. That was my plan for yesterday. Today I'm also just aiming to do my routines, and so far I've done the morning one (beds, breakfast, laundry and washing up reboots, and some hotspots) and two or three things from the afternoon/daytime one.

Am now going to attempt to put a sleeping baby down and go and reboot laundry again - here goes!!

so, do you all come on in the morning and list wht you are going to do , and then come back at the end of the day and say if you;ve done it? and what happens if you dont do it all? or even any of it? told you I wasnt a professional!

We all just come on whenever we get the chance really...usually in the morning, then we get to see what the days mission is (the link on the first post of the day)
Some of us write a list some don't, but I find a list helps you focus on what needs doing.
Then we usually just come back and forth throughout the day.
Have you had a look at today's link...it might help to have a look at the FLY site...we all tend to follow the FLY housework guidelines, helps to break down the nightmare of housework into easy little chunks...

Oh...and if you don't do all of the list (or any of it for that matter) It doesn't matter! Just try again with the same list the next day...

This is just a good thread to post on if you get a bit lost keeping on top of the housework...It can be a real struggle sometimes (well I think so anyway)

losty - welcome. i rarely write lists of stuff to do. it isnt mandatory.

have big tidy up to do later as having relatives over tomorrow. thankfully i've been swishing and swiping all the loos so they're clean that just leaves tidying up downstairs, hoovering and mopping the floors. not tooo much to panic over yay.

ps. grouchy - kiddies often do that to us.

Hello

I'm home from the school play and then the present shopping trip. Dd was wonderful in her school play, I am a very proud mummy And together she and I have found presents for all this weekends parties

Kids are having supper with dh supervising while I have a few mins MN time before I set about making our Friday night supper....Got work in the morning so need to keep on top of things this eve.

losty, i came on this morning and said i was doing naf all! lol, later did a list but havnt done any of it!! i wouldnt worry, onc you get the hang of routines you may find the days you miss as it were dont turn in to the disaster zone they used to!!!

GO hope all is ok and you're feeling a bit more positive!

thanks for the welcome girls! I havent follwed the link yet as I am about to go and make up the boys beds and then bath them and they both need hair washing tonight, which is a mammoth task as they have long hair which needs blow drying....

I will remmeber this thread tho. Is there a new one everyday, like the bar and tearoom?

If I'm up early tomorrow I'll do a link to the baby steps for you losty as we have no missions on the weekends.

My list today was all carried over from yesterday. I did do it all (except the fish tank)though.
